Bahrain – The meeting place for the Gulf’s Petroleum Industry
Bahrain is an archipelago in the Arabian Gulf which has long been famed for its hospitality, pure drinking water and trade.

Today Bahrain’s hospitality includes many first class hotels and restaurants, offering refreshment and relaxation to all.

Its suitability as a place in which to do trade now has international recognition: the World Trade Organisation rates Bahrain as the best place in the Gulf in which to do business.

In more recent times it was the first country in the Middle East to find and produce oil.

This is not so surprising when you consider that Bahrain is surrounded by most of the world’s petroleum reserves.

Aramco’s headquarters in the Eastern Province are just over the causeway.

Also within easy reach are Qatar, Iran, Kuwait and Abu Dhabi.

This combination of factors is tailor-made for the Middle East’s oil and gas industry.

If you have not been to Bahrain before, there has never been a better time.
